Education Engagement Manager

The Education Engagement Manager (EM) facilitates payments-related training and education via Glenbrook Payment Boot Camps™, Glenbrook Insight Workshops, Glenbrook Insight Webinars, and customized client workshops. The Education EM brings thought leadership, critical thinking, project management, and team leadership skills together to ensure a quality educational experience and informative seminars.

Responsibilities include:

  • Workshop Leader (50%)

Present various topics/modules, answer questions, and acts as a subject matter expert in select topics in the global payments industry. Over time, the EM will be expected to confidently lead any module in a Payments Boot Camp™ or Insight Workshop. The EM will be paired with a Partner who will be the primary workshop leader.

  • Client Engagement (25%)

Work with clients to prepare customized training experiences tailored to meet client educational needs. This includes development of discussion topics, training agenda, time allocation, statement of work, etc. Drawing on the Glenbrook slide and video library, the EM will assemble detailed presentation decks to coincide with training agenda.

  • Program Development (15%)

Work with Glenbrook education team to coordinate and optimize tools, procedures, and processes to optimize client experience and program profitability. 

  • Marketing (10%)

Coordinate awareness and visibility of Glenbrook’s payments industry education program through various channels and venues. 

Skills and experience required:

  • Broad high-level familiarity with the terminology, concepts, and major companies in the global payments industry
  • Experience in a role requiring teaching, training or explanation (for example technical support, sales/account support or technical product support) in the payments industry
  • MBA – or – relevant industry work experience
  • 5 plus years post-MBA experience in an education, business, or strategy role at a payments or payments-related company
  • Comfort and command of using interactive collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively facilitate substantive dialogue with client personnel from mid-management to senior levels
  • Demonstrated integrity and respect for confidentiality
  • Intense curiosity about a wide range of subjects
  • Team orientation, ownership, and accountability coupled with innate desire to collaborate with Glenbrook colleagues and clients
  • Desire to grow a superior practice area that provides opportunity for learning and professional growth

Working virtually, the ideal candidate will be in the Eastern Time Zone and be comfortable leading online workshops throughout North America and Europe. Post pandemic, this role will require approximately 25-30% domestic travel.
